Part 1: The limits of 'The Art of Governance' - an open discussion with Howard Slater and Anthony Davies. Starts 7pm.



The first of two events looking at the history and legacy of the Artist Placement Group, the artist initiative founded by Barbara Steveni with John Latham, Jeffrey Shaw and Barry Flanagan in 1966. Participants will be invited to join a discussion with writers Howard Slater and Anthony Davies, taking as a starting point Slater's essay 'The Art of Governance', a critical look at APG's aims and working methods.

The evening will begin with a screening of footage from Steveni's ongoing project 'I AM AN ARCHIVE'.
